Bluewater Zara Reconfiguration & Extension
Fantastic effort during these unprecedented and difficult times from the Main Contractor, RG Group, who has successfully completed the primary structural frame for the new-build service yard extension of the existing Zara store at Bluewater Shopping Centre.
Other construction works are still on programme to be completed in August and when it opens to the public, the existing store will be doubled in size to create a new 37,000 ft2 MSU over two levels and will be one of Zara’s largest stores in the country.
CNM’s appointment by Landsec follows our successful delivery of previous extensions at the Centre since 2012 for other major retailers including Primark, H&M, Arcadia and WHS.

Plans approved for exciting new chapter in Millbay’s regeneration
Planning approval has been given for the exciting next phase in the transformation of Plymouth’s former docksides at Millbay.
CNM’s client English Cities Fund (ECf), submitted proposals to build 58 apartments, a 126-bedroom hotel and ground floor retail/leisure space at a key site in the regeneration area.
The plans, which were given approval by Plymouth City Council in January 2019, will see new life brought to a parcel of land at the gateway to the new Millbay Boulevard and overlooking the King Point Marina.
The wider Millbay regeneration scheme is an exciting mix of residential, leisure, business and retail development, with high quality public spaces and direct access to the waterfront. CNM have been working on the overall regeneration with ECf since 2010, and look forward to helping them successfully delivering this latest phase.

Quadrant Wharf development passes the halfway mark
CNM’s client The English Cities Fund (ECf) is celebrating a significant moment in the transformation of Millbay in Plymouth, as work on the £30 million latest phase of development has passed the halfway point.

Quadrant Wharf will feature a total of 137 new homes and is scheduled to be completed in Autumn 2019. The scheme will also continue the new waterside promenade and Quadrant Quay’s coastal-themed, landscaped garden rooms, which won Best Public Space in the 2017 Abercrombie Awards for Plymouth.

ECf is a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal and General and Homes England. CNM have been working on multiple phases with ECf at Millbay continuously since 2010.
