Hotel du Vin Newcastle

The complete refurbishment and conversion of the historic Tyne Tees Steam Shipping Co building located in the Newcastle historic quayside; together with new build extension buildings providing additional accommodation.

The project involved the demolition of existing buildings to accommodate the new build and was greatly complicated by the presence of an historic buried monument being the 100 year old Victoria coal tunnel which ran directly under the new building.
