The London Marriott Hotel Park Lane

Conversion and extension of an imposing 1920’s apartment building overlooking Marble Arch and Hyde Park to create a 7 storey 157 room, 9 suite 5 Star Hotel including conference and meeting facilities and a stunning swimming pool and fitness centre.

The project involved removal of load bearing walls, infill of stair and light wells and provision of new steel framed Lift and Stair Cores in the existing building with new construction in reinforced concrete on piled foundations.

Large sections of the new build was constructed above retained retail premises fronting onto Oxford Street.
