A world leading hospital that specialises in the treatment, care and research of heart and lung disease.

CNM undertook the design of the new building structure and civil engineering elements of the scheme in Sydney Street in Chelsea. This major new hospital required the construction of a deep basement within gravel strata and below the water table.

The superstructure was constructed using a reinforced concrete insitu frame of walls, columns and floors. CNM were also appointed as lead consultant for the enabling works pre-contract, which included demolition, mass excavation and removal of contaminated material.
